Lilok's Status Under COVID-19

A blessed day to all our co-journeyers.

On March 15, 2020, an enhanced community quarantine was placed in Luzon. Under the guidelines, mass transportation was suspended and all households were placed in home quarantine until April 12.

As such, Lilok Foundation has decided to suspend all program operations at the Sanayang Lilok office, maintaining only a skeletal work force for administrative tasks. Most staff will be working from home during the quarantine.

Work is still ongoing in Sakahang Lilok in Tanay in terms of farming, animal husbandry, and repair and maintenance work, but the Farm will not take on any guests during this time.

In the meantime, please pray for the most vulnerable members of the communities Lilok serves: those in urban poor communities who will suffer the most as they lose access to financial resources during the home quarantine, and those in local government units and in the health sector who are at the frontlines of this crisis.

The entire world is undergoing a terrible crisis because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but we at Lilok have faith that the Lord is still the ruler of this world. We will be praying for all of our partners during this season of waiting.
